Family fun meets a shopper’s paradise!Lake Arrowhead Village has been a favourite destination for many since
1923. As mentioned, the Village history dates back to 1923 when the Norman styled Village was first completed. Lake Arrowhead’s Village was then comprised of a dance pavilion, an outdoor movie theatre, restaurant, beach houses and three hotels. In 1979 the entire Village with the exception of the dance pavilion, post office, bank and real estate office, was burned to the ground during the burn to learn exercise. The new Village of Lake Arrowhead was then built. The dance pavilion was restored and this now houses part of the Papagayos Restaurant. The Village of Lake Arrowhead is known as the heartbeat of mountain communities and the Village outdoor theatre provides 37 free concerts a year. There is much to do and see at the Village including a shopping centre overlooking the lake, restaurants, factory outlets, boutiques, galleries and gift shops. There are also numerous family attractions including the Village fun park, a family playground, lake tours on the Arrowhead Queen and the Lake Arrowhead’s Children’s Museum. There is also an old fashioned carousel and ice skating rink in the winter. Hotels in Lake Arrowhead include the Lake Arrowhead Resort where you can relax in the health spa and enjoy luxurious accommodation. More details are available by phoning 909-336-1511. There are also numerous motels, bed and breakfasts and cabin rentals for those who prefer. Whatever you choose, the Village at Lake Arrowhead will definitely enhance your Arrowhead vacation.
